Display Tables for Luxury Retail
Natural stone provides a substantial surface for presenting products and helps give a retail interior a stronger material identity.
A table can be positioned within the centre of the shop, used to create a focused display or placed within a quieter consultation area.
The stone should complement the products rather than compete with them. Travertine provides a warm, restrained surface. Marble creates more visible movement, while granite offers depth and contrast.
Showrooms and Design Studios
Stone tables work well within furniture, kitchen, bathroom, fashion and interior design showrooms.
A dining table can provide a central meeting or presentation space. Coffee tables and side tables can support seating arrangements, material libraries and customer consultation areas.
Where a specific size or finish is needed, a bespoke piece can be developed around the showroom layout.
Our process
1. Your Idea
It begins with a conversation. Share your brief, concept, or inspiration. We can either tailor one of our signature pieces or design something from scratch, dependant on your requirements.
2. Visualisation
Our designers will create 3D visualisations and dimensional drawings, allowing you to see your future piece in detail before production begins. We’ll work closely with you to refine every element — from proportions to edge detailing and finish options.
3. Stone selection
You’ll have access to our extensive library of materials, including globally sourced marbles, quartz, granites, and advanced sintered stones such as Neolith, Silestone, Quartzform, and Dekton. You may even select your exact slab from our warehouse, ensuring each piece is distinctly yours.
4. Crafting
Once you’re happy with every detail, we’ll begin production with a 50% deposit. From this point, your piece will be handcrafted and delivered within 4–6 weeks, installed by our expert team in your room of choice.
Galleries and Exhibition Spaces
A natural stone table can provide a permanent focal point within a gallery, reception space or private viewing room.
Round and oval designs work well where people circulate around the furniture. More directional rectangular pieces can define a meeting, display or consultation area.
The intended use and weight of displayed items should be included in the project brief.
Bespoke Furniture for a Brand Interior
Commercial interiors often require furniture that feels connected to the wider brand rather than taken from a general catalogue.
Virrelli can discuss:
- required dimensions
- table shape
- preferred stone
- surface character
- quantities
- delivery programme
- relationship with other materials in the interior
An existing design can provide the starting point, or a bespoke commission can be developed from the brief.
